Restorative Breathwork Intensives

These intensives are tailored both for the beginner as well as the experienced student of breathwork. Hatha yoga, breathwork and meditation provide the experiential framework for developing and expanding personal skills in Restorative Breathwork. Emphasis is upon exploring the interrelationship between breath and energy and the dynamic influence of breath on consciousness, as well as physical health and well being. Participants will experience a progressive sequence of mindfulness breathing practices designed to awaken the restorative healing power of the breath.
Workshop Topics Include:
- Developing awareness of the subtle qualities of the breath
- Awakening the innate intelligence of the breath
- The five principles of mindfulness
- Exploring the primary prana currents through asana and breath
- Bringing into play the interrelationship between breath and energy flow
- Restoring physical and emotional health through mindfulness breathing
Note: Due to the nature of this program, no two weekends are alike. One may repeat this program as often as desired as a means of deepening their personal practice in Restorative Breathwork.
Transpersonal Breathwork Intensives
CE credits (YA)
These intensives are tailored both for the intermediate as well as the advance student of breathwork. This program combines hatha yoga, bioenergy techniques and breathwork to provide an integrative framework for personal transformation. Emphasis is upon deepening the process of emotional healing through the esoteric practice of "chakra breathing." All group breathwork sessions will be followed by an extended guided meditation designed to enhance spiritual attunement.
Prerequisite: Previous experience with Restorative Breathwork
Workshop Topics Include:
- Transpersonal dimensions of healing
- Prepare the body, prepare the mind
- Bioenergy techniques to activate the flow of energy through the subtle body
- Mindfulness breathing practices designed to uncover and transform emotional blocks
- Cultivating the "meditative mind"
- Sadhana, purification and self-responsibility
